RCS stands for Real Communication Solutions. Our primary business is providing Assistant Language Teachers to public
elementary, middle and high schools, as well as some English schools, day care centers, kindergartens and businesses.
The company was founded over 30 years ago, and incorporated in 1989 by Rex Schaumleffel making it the longest running
company supplying ALTs to schools in Japan. Initially starting with a single teacher, RCS has gradually expanded through our
reputation of good service and quality teachers. At present RCS supplies over 200 teachers to more than 300 schools in the Kanto
area and is continuing to expand.

even arranging cars.
Matters such as visas, taxes and insurance are all administered by the company to ensure that all of our ALTs are legally eligible
to work in Japan.
RCS provides intensive training for all of our employees to insure that they feel comfortable and confident to fulfil their duties as
English Language Instructors. Additionally, we provide workshops focused on acclimating to life in Japan.
RCS provides constant support for our ALTs on all levels including translating and interpreting services, on site assistance in
emergencies and counseling for school and private matters. In addition, we keep in regular contact with all of our ALTs by phone
and by a Monthly Newsletter.
RCS provides regular feedback to our ALTs following consultations with their Board of Education, schools and teachers as well as
from first-hand lesson observations.
Through 30 years experience of providing ALTs to schools, RCS has accumulated an extensive collection of materials ranging
from CDs and text books to activity books and games for our ALTs use.

Who are we?
RCS has offices in Yorii, Tokyo, and Nagano. The head office is in Yorii in Saitama prefecture to the North of Tokyo. Below are

|Take the North exit out of Yorii Station.
You will immediately see a very large,
blue building. This is Yorii Town Hall.
Walk past the town hall. After the first
intersection, the road becomes a bit
smaller. Continue walking to the end of
the street. RCS will be on the left,
however, this is the back of the
building. There is a sign in Japanese
that says じゅくーる.
Take a left to get to the front of the
building. It looks like a large house
with a small parking lot. There is a sign
above the front door.
||At Nishi Waseda station (Fukutoshin
line, Tokyo Metro Subway), take exit 3.
Follow the signs towards Shinjuku
Cosmic Center. Once you get to the
street, turn right. You will pass Nishi
Waseda University and Shinjuku
Cosmic Center. When you reach the
intersection, cross the street towards
Sunkus. Our office is located on the
10thfloor of the building connected to
Sunkus. The entrance is just to the
right of the convenience store. If you
reach the 99 Shop, you have gone too
far. At the glass door please press
'1001' and someone will let you in.
When you exit the elevator on the 10th
floor, the front door to the office is
directly opposite on the left. Please
ring the doorbell on arrival.
